Cryptocoryne Pink Flamingo

Cryptocoryne Pink Flamingo

Cryptocoryne sp. "Flamingo" is a highly sought-after plant due to its unique coloration!

Ā

Cryptocoryne sp. "Flamingo" is a relatively new and uncommon Cryptocoryne mutation that is highly remarkable for the pink coloration of its submerged form. With proper care, it can develop and maintain its pink coloration and be a highly stunning plant in the aquascape. It requires stable conditions, especially when newly established, butĀ is not demanding otherwise.

Ā

Cryptocoryne sp. "Flamingo"Ā is a slow-growing plant that requiresĀ low to moderate lighting. It should be placed in an area of the aquarium where it can be allowed to establish over time. Due to its wide natural range, it can adapt to a relatively wide variety of water parameters as long as it does not have to endure sudden changes. Like most Cryptocoryne species, it should be allowed plenty of time to ā€œsettle inā€ and should not be moved constantly. Once established, it will reproduce by sending runners that will grow into new plants.

Ā

CO2 supplementation is beneficial, but not necessary for this plant. It will also benefit from supplemental fertilizers and nutrient-rich substrate. These factors are crucial in optimal pink coloration. This plant is initially grown emersed and is typically green, not pink, upon arrival.

No aquarium plant distributor/nursery/wholesaler/retailer can or will guarantee their plants to be 100% snail free. We can not guarantee our plants will be snail free.
